What are Mouse Poison Boxes?
Cardboard mouse bait boxes are used as a temporary device for holding mouse poison bait when treating an infestation. These boxes are designed specifically for holding wheat/cereal bait, wax blocks and pasta bait sachets.
Our cardboard mouse bait boxes have an outer layer of wax that allows temporary usage in areas prone to dampness, e.g. boiler rooms, kitchens, and cellars. They are commonly used in commercial environments when treating active infestations.
These boxes are designed to allow mice access only and are not suitable for controlling rats. Every box has two entrance holes at each end of the box, and a have a larger opening door at the top to facilitate the placement of bait.
NOT TAMPER-RESISTANT – Remember that with new EU regulations, all amateur rodenticide bait must be used in tamper-resistant bait stations. Cardboard mouse poison boxes do not meet this criterion and are only suitable for professional baits or non-toxic monitoring baits.
Check our heavy-duty plastic bait box alternatives for long-term use.
