Expert Pigeon Netting 50mm Black

Pigeon Netting is one of the most popular methods used for protecting structures against infestations of Feral Pigeons. Our pigeon control netting is manufactured from UV stabilised 50mm knotted twine high density polyethylene. Pigeon netting is designed to stop birds from landing on surfaces such as flat roofs, dormer windows, air conditioning systems industrial roofs, valley roofs and parapet gutters. Pigeon Netting can be used in low, medium and high pressure bird infestations.

• Material: HDPE Ultra Violet stabilized twine 12/6

Construction: 630 denier (0.30mm thick) mono-filament HDPE which is then twisted x 2, then x 3 to make the finished twine approximately 1mm in diameter, with a 12/6 construction.

All our bird nets are manufactured from knotted polyethylene which does not absorb water, does not stretch and is chemically inert. All of our nets are UV light stabilised for use in direct sunlight all over the globe without suffering from UV degradation. As an indication, it is likely to resist UV degradation in average UK sunlight conditions in excess of 10-years.

Our bird nets are constructed from mono-filaments designed specifically for bird net systems. They are extruded to 0.3mm thick. They are then twisted into a twine which is 12/6 strands thick.

Usage

Bird Netting is one of the most popular methods used for protecting structures against all common species of urban bird pest. Its success is due principally to the fact that if it is installed correctly then it is virtually the only system that can be used with confidence in places subject to high levels of bird infestation and where birds are roosting at night.

Bird netting is very versatile as it can be used at all angles for proofing a wide variety of structures, from small perches to complete building facades and roofs. The square mesh running horizontally and vertically ensures that the netting is virtually invisible when installed correctly.

The bird netting is completely humane and cannot physically harm the birds in any way. It simply deters them so they move on to perch somewhere else.

Our nets are available in different mesh sizes according to the target species:

• 75mm mesh is used for Seagulls
• 50mm mesh for pigeons
• 28mm mesh for Starlings
• 19mm mesh for Sparrows and small birds.

All of our nets can be available in Black, Stone or Translucent White colour. We can also offer flame retardant netting in 50mm and 19mm mesh sizes
